Our beliefs are adapted from the Assemblies of God Statement of Fundamental Truths.

We believe...

The Bible: We believe that both the Jewish Scriptures and the writings of the early church (Old and New Testament) are infallible. God spoke, and man wrote. We believe that God has given us these instructions so that man would know who God is, and how he is to live with his fellow man, and how he is to relate to God.

God: We believe in the one true God of the Bible. As God, He has no beginning or end, no gender, and all authority. He is the creator of everything. He is unique, existing in three separate persons, but comprising one being. He is a loving God who desires for man to know Him so that He may bless him.

Man: We believe that Mankind is the apex of God's creation. Only Man was created in the image of God and possesses the breath of God. Because of God's love for Man, he has been given the greatest gift possible, Free Will.

Sin: We believe that sin is any act that is contrary to the nature of God. All sin is voluntary, and each man's spirit testifies to this truth. (Ever wonder why you feel bad after doing something wrong?) The punishment for sin is death (eternal separation from God).

Jesus: We believe that Jesus is God. While consistently and properly referred to as the "Son of God," He is not a physical descendant of God. We believe that Jesus came to earth, lived a perfect life, died on a cross as a payment for all of man's sins, and rose again three days later so that all those who have faith in Him may spend eternity with God. These believers are called Christians. Contrary to popular thought, there is no way to heaven other than Jesus. He is the only cure for sin.

The Church: We believe that the Church is made up of Christians, not real estate. The purpose of the Church is to physically demonstrate the love and mercy of God through fellowship, compassion and testimony. If God really saved you from an eternity in Hell, then tell someone else!

The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is God. He interacts with man to reveal who God is and of what He is capable. It is the role of the Holy Spirit to convict us when we sin and to empower us with His miracles to demonstrate the truth with which we speak. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are promised for every believer in Jesus.

Community: Everyone has a part in their community, and we want to fulfill our commission as a church and a body of believers.

Connection: We want to connect with our city, nation, and world.

Fellowship: We strive to grow stronger everyday in unity and deeper in relationships.

Growth: We believe that we should growing in our understanding of others so we can help each other and those around us.

Love: Love is our foundation for everything.
